Bather

As a Bather, you make a difference in the lives of pets by providing customers with an upscale experience to improve the look and feel of a pet’s physical appearance and well-being. This position spends most time in direct contact with our furry visitors. You must excel at communication and observation skills, as well as possess a keen eye for details. position growth available.

Here is what a day in the life of a Bather would look like:

Bathe each client on your schedule to set standards, answer phones, do daily cleaning as well as other tasks through the day.

Use good judgment and alert groomer/owners of any abnormalities that a dog may have,

Provide guests with an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Provide all pet guests with kindness and respect at all times.

Speak authentically about products and services offered.

Educate guests in the benefits of our holistic approach to caring for pets

Maintain a clean work area - clean floors, kennels, dog yards, walls, bowls regularly.

Positively interact with pet parents in-person, via email, text and phone.

We will teach you a lot but what we need you to already have:

Must be 18 years or older

At least 6 months of pet bathing/pet care experience preferred

Passion for dog bathing and the well-being of pets

Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening, some weekend shifts

Time management ,multitasking ,reliable

Ability to clean and stock work area

Physical Demands:

Position requires person to work both indoors and outdoors

Majority of day is spent standing, walking, bending, kneeling,interacting with clients

Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of animals including small and large dogs(different behaviors)

Must be able to work around pet hair and dander

Communicate with proper spelling and grammar via email/ text /phone.

Communicate with clients in a friendly, upbeat manner

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $11.00+ an hour plus Tips and continued education available.

Bathe and trim/file nails and provide other services as directed by groomer in a timley fashion

Use good judgment and alert groomer of any anomalies that a dog may have

Provide guests with an exceptional experience

Provide all pet guests with kindness and respect at all times

Speak authentically about products and services offered

Educate guests in the benefits of our holistic approach to caring for pets

Maintain a clean work area - clean floors , kennels , dog yards, walls , bowls regulary

Maintain a overall clean salon enviroment

Feed ,clean,and love pets monitor daily habits ,playtime care

Positively interact with pet parents in-person, via email, text and phone

Groomer position

Mosa Pet Spa & Resort has opening for a Rockstar GROOMER!

To join our team, we need you to share the belief in building relationships with people through their pets and strengthening the human-animal bond. We're looking to add the right person to our Family and are taking applications for an Amazing Groomer. We are continuing to experience incredible growth and this is the perfect time to get invested in our company!

We believe that grooming plays a critical role in a pet's health and the human-animal bond. Our groomers take pride in their outstanding skills and compassion our holistic approach, but also client communication and customer service!

The Ideal Candidate:

* Has at least 4 years of experience grooming.

* Must be available to grooming different sizes and breeds utilizing the appropriate tools to ensure high-quality work, meeting the expectations of the client, and passionate about pet's care and well-being

* Possess an attitude conducive for grooming in a one on one environment in accordance with each client's specifications and breed recommendation.

* Communicates and documents appropriate detail of service and adhere to the company's policies and procedures.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Bathing, brushing, clipping/ scissor work and the proper care and inspection of dogs

* Toe Nail Trims, anal gland expression, teeth brushing, correct restraining when needed.

* Excellent customer service, with training in reception and appointment scheduling on our operating system

* Be a team player, and be willing to learn and assist others in daily duties

* Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas at all times. Including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and removal of the trash.

Job Duties include: answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting customers, checking in and out customers, cleaning, laundry, obtaining vaccine records, knowledge of products, conflict resolution
